| Description of the problem | At 67,000 miles the transfer case of my 04 awd murano cracked. As a result a control panel and switch were also damaged. Grand total to repair $4200. Only event leading up to the failure was a clicking or slapping sound 3 days previous to the part completely failing. I thought that the noise was related to my recent tire rotation initially and the car completely broke down on the way to the repair shop. Website poll with 43% of people responding that they had problems with this part referred me to this site. |
