Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owned a 2004 nissan murano. While driving approximately 20 mph, another vehicle crashed into the front passenger side of the contact's vehicle. The passenger side air bag exploded and metal shards of shrapnel violently emitted from the air bag. The contact also noticed an overpowering odor similar to gun powder, which caused her to have breathing problems. The contact was able to exit the vehicle, but required medical attention. The contact was diagnosed with permanent lung damage as a result of breathing in the chemicals from the air bag, in addition to fractured ribs. The vehicle was destroyed and towed.
