Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2004 nissan maxima. While driving 5 mph into the driveway it was difficult to steer the vehicle. The contact observed a large crack around the rim of the tire. The dealer informed the contact that all four of the tires were a safety hazard and they recommended that she no longer drive the vehicle. The goodyear manufacturer advised the contact to take the vehicle to town fair tire and speak with a representative. The dot# for 3 tires are m6a9cmwr1703, and one tire dot# was m6a9cmwr5203. All of the tires are goodyear eagle, size 245/45r18v. Town fair inspected the tires and confirmed with goodyear that all four tires were a safety hazard at 23,000 miles. Goodyear stated that they would pay 75% of the tire replacement; however, the contact feels that goodyear should pay the full amount. The contact filed a complaint with goodyear and was given case # 888402. The contact will also be filing a complaint with the attorney general in her local area.
