| Description of the problem | In july/august 2008, i would get a jerking motion when the car shifted from 1st to 2nd or if i go from drive to reverse (vice versa). My car also wouldn't accelerate and the engine light was on. The car would jerk especially hard when making a turn and the car slows down and picks up speed again. I took my car to nissan in bayridge/brooklyn, ny and was told that i needed cam sensors, a tune up and a list of other things. All together, i paid $2000+ to repair my car.
