Description of the problem	When approaching an intersection to turn left, although i had my foot on the brake, the car wasn't slowing, speed was the same. When i began to turn the wheel, the steering wheel kept jerking right. It felt like something had locked up. The brakes continued to be ineffective and because the steering kept jerking to the right on a left turn, it rammed into the curb and caused injury to myself.
