Description of the problem | Our car had been sitting in our driveway for 4 days while we were away on vacation. The morning after we returned we noticed that the skylight was raised and cracked. Upon touching the surface of the glass the entire window imploded into very small and uniform pieces of glass. The weather was cold (in the 20s) during the week, but there had not been any impact damage. No fallen branches or flying rocks. The car was parked in our driveway, approx 90 feet from the road. |
