Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 nissan juke. While driving approximately 15 mph, a strong odor of fuel was present inside the vehicle. The contact also noticed a puddle of fuel under the vehicle when it was first started. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who determined that the fuel pressure sensor failed and needed replacement. The vehicle was also taken to sorg nissan (2845 n detroit st, warsaw, in 46582) where it was diagnosed that the fuel pressure sensor failed and needed replacement. The vehicle was not included in nhtsa campaign number: 14v683000 (fuel system, gasoline). The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided case number: 34443511. The vehicle was repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 97,000. |
