Description of the problem	Driving on highway averaging 80 mph. I was not using cruise control. After 4 hours of driving the vehicle begins to decelerate. I pressed the gas pedal further to accelerate, yet it had no effect. The vehicle speed dropped to 60 mph. I put on hazards. I shifted the automatic gear shift to manual and attempted to downshift. The gear indicator on the dashboard showed 7 (top gear), and as i attempted to downshift, the transmission would not downshift. The
