Description of the problem	I was driving on the highway during a 1. 5 hour trip. About an hour into the drive, the car started to decelerate from 75 down to 40. I pulled over to the side of the road and waited for the car to cool so that i could limp it to the dealership. I went to my local mechanic who determined the transmission had failed on a 6 year old car with only 78,000 miles. I took the car to nissan who has confirmed. Something similar had happened in the past but the mechanic i had taken the car to said he was unable to replicate the failure.
