Description of the problem | Purchased brand new in 2012 and i have put 5 new batteries in this car, . The adverage life span is 10 months. I just had the car serviced at 60k and within 1 week the battery was dead ( the dealer admitted did not test the battery at that service) put new battery in dead in 2 months. Dealer has not offered any solution for this problem for the past 3 years. Others owners have complained about the same issue and model and no solution is ever offered. Something is draining it. This is a safety issue. You just do not know when it will die. Always parked when the battery dies, i get it jumped and it starts. All the electrical comes on but the car will not turn over. I drive the car daily for long distances so the altenator will charge. |
