| Description of the problem | The timing belt along with other associated cranks and pulleys, are damaged. The car has been kept current with all maintenance and out of the blue the timing chain mechanism begins to fail. This is extremely dangerous to drive with engine failure looming around every corner, and the repair costs on something that should last is sky high. When this happened the first time, the car was stationary and i noticed the sound upon start up of the vehicle. |
