Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2011 nissan juke. Upon starting the vehicle, the service engine indicator illuminated. Two days later, the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 18v156000 (fuel system, gasoline). The vehicle was taken to pat peck nissan-gulfport (9480 us 49, gulfport, ms 39503, 228-864-6411) where the recall repair was performed; however, the service engine indicator illuminated again. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the fuel pressure sensor was faulty and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures and advised the contact to take the vehicle back to the nissan dealer. The vehicle was not taken back to the dealer and the failure was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 156,000. |
