| Description of the problem | I have a 2011 nissan juke. There was a timing chain recall on all 2011-2014 nissan jukes. I was not notified of any recalls. When my timing chain broke, i was told by henderson nissan in nevada that the valves were damaged because of the defective timing chain. A rep from nissan's corporate office told me that my vin number does not fall into the recall category for the defective timing chain so they did not want to pay for the $9,000 for a new engine. There is a class action lawsuit in california in regards to the timing chain. |
