| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2007 nissan frontier. The tires on the vehicle were manufactured by cooper tire & rubber co. And the tire line was lexington es-335 (kenda h rated), size 215/60r15. While the vehicle was parked, the front passenger side tire blew out. Two weeks later the rear driver side, tire blew out. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. Both of the tires were taken to an independent dealer which was where they were purchased. The independent dealer replaced both of the tires with the same brand and stated that he could not replace the tires with a different brand or tire line. The weather was not a factor. The manufacturer told an independent dealer that the tires were defective. The vin was not provided by the contact. The approximate current and failure mileages were 35,000. |
