| Description of the problem | Our 2007 nissan frontier's radiator leaked into our transmission and ruined our transmission at 110,000 miles. The vehicle started slipping and stuttering changing gears while we were driving and it then locked up when we pulled into a gas station and we could not shift the car into gear. The car had to be towed where the shop is telling us it needs a new transmission and radiator. When i called the nissan dealership, they acknowledged this is a problem with this vehicle, but i am out of luck because it is no longer covered under warranty. The repair is over a $5200 fix. This is a direct result of a bad manufactured radiator, no fault of our own, and it has now ruined our truck. |
