| Description of the problem | The engine overheated. When i lifted the hood i noticed a cream colored substance coming out of coolant reservoir. Had the truck towed to nissan dealer. After diagnosis was told the transmission fluid and the coolant fluid got mixed together. Apparently this has happen before on 2007 nissan frontier engines. Dealer said i needed to have the transmission and the radiator replaced at a cost of $7,000 of which they told me nissan would pay $4,000. My complaint is that nissan knew this was a problem with apparently no way to keep it from happening. I feel nissan should be responsible for the total bill. |
