| Description of the problem | 2007 nissan frontier automatic crewcab (21,000 miles) - the truck does not downshift automatically when slowing while climbing a slight hill. This began when the truck was new. The truck begins to jerk when slowing just as a manual trans vehicle jerks when driving too slow while in 4th gear. To force the trans to downshift i would press the accelerator pedal a little more. The dealer said it's normal but i have never experienced this event in any vehicle i've driven and does not seem normal to me. |
