Description of the problem	I purchased a 2006 nissan frontier 4x4 truck on 7/28/15 and have since discovered it had serious transmission problems. I took it into nissan of tacoma to be looked at and was told that this is a problem that nissan knows about so they will pay all but $3000 of the repairs. I was told this was an inherent problem with this model and others made by nissan and nissan has since changed how they built their cars. I have been told i can only drive it semi safely around town, no going over the mountains and absolutely no towing with it which is why i bought this truck, to tow my trailer. I am a disabled senior on a fixed income and have no extra money to fix much less buy a new vehicle. I owe around $27000. On it and went as far as to buy an extended warranty which will not cover these issues. I do not understand why if this is that big of a problem it has not been recalled. This vehicle has 7 other recalls per you website so this becomes a real problem.
