Description of the problem	I purchased a used 2006 nissan frontier crew cab se this april 2008 everything was running great until this month of december 23 my check engine light came on out of the blue and my fuel gauge doesn't work properly so i filled it up with gas maybe im just low on gas but when i filled up my tank my gauge didn't go up so i brought it to my mechanic to fix the problem he told me that my fuel sensor is tripping out and its going to cost me $150 to drop the gas tank plus the price of the sensor which i don't have any idea how much it cost so i told my mechanic to turn off the check engine light and he told me to come back the next day if the problem still exist so i went home and the next day when i started my truck the check engine was gone and my fuel gauge went up all the way lightning fast so i was very happy but not for long after 5 days the problem occurred again i was low of gas about 1/4 tank and the lights were on again so another disappointment so i research this problem and i found that im not alone with this problem there's alot of people out there that own nissan vehicles that are newer that has a fuel sensor problem and this is a major defect and nissan should consider this a recall this could lead to a big problem when your fuel gauge is not working properly especially when driving and all of a sudden your out of gas and it can cause an accident or even death especially when your driving on the freeway i hope my complaint will take effect and to notify nissan about this problem we are talking safety for the consumers just like me thank you.....
