Description of the problem	Fuel level gauge on my 2006 nissan frontier [xxx] gives sporadic readings: reads empty when tank is full. After several miles gives apparently accurate reading until approximately 1/4 tank when it suddenly reads empty. This usually (but not always) occurs. Nissan claims this vin is not covered under the current recall of this model for this exact same problem, and insists they have no obligation to fix it.
