| Description of the problem | As my vehicle uses gas the gauge sticks at about 5/16 to 3/8 full. This action causes the fuel gauge to then do unusual things such as fall to empty and throw a fault code to the obd ii. Or the fuel level on the gauge will stay at approx. 5/16 to 3/8 full for a prolonged time while driving. I have contacted nissan but they say the trucks build date falls outside of the vehicles which have been recalled. It sure seems to me that i too have a gas tank with the deformity which causes the fuel float to "catch' or "stick'. |
