| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2006 nissan frontier. The contact stated that while driving approximately 20 mph, the vehicle suddenly stalled. After multiple attempts, the contact was able to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to four different independent mechanics, who were unable to diagnose the failure. The dealer was notified and stated the vehicle was included in the recall under nhtsa campaign id number 10v517000 (engine and engine cooling). The vehicle was then taken to the dealer for the recall repairs. After the repairs, the technician was unable to start the vehicle. The technicians stated that there was an electrical failure and the vehicle had to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not again repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 104,000. |
