| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2006 nissan frontier. While driving at an unknown speed, the engine warning light illuminated on the instrument control panel. The vehicle would sporadically stall. Speed was not a factor during the failures. After the vehicle would stall, it would take a long time to automatically restart. The dealer could not duplicate the failure and provide a remedy. The vehicle was inspected by a mechanic, who stated that the gasoline delivery pump was potentially defective. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, but because it exceeded the warranty, they would not repair the vehicle for free. The vehicle has not been repaired. The failure mileage was 15,000 and current mileage was 71,853. |
