Description of the problem	2005 nissan frontier gas gauge reads 1/4 full when the tank is empty. Causes me to run out of gas when driving in traffic. I drive with a gallon of gas in truck bed, so when i run out i can get to a gas station. I have to stand on the road with traffic going by to pour the gas in when it runs out, it's very dangerous to run out of gas when the gauge indicates there is gas in the tank. Nissan recalled 2006 to 2008 frontiers but not 2005. I asked nissan due to the production year 2005 and identical problem on the 2005, compared to the 2006- 2008 recall, to please repair they replied no, its not part of the recall . How do i hold nissan responsible for issuing a defective product.
