Description of the problem	2005 nissan frontier crew cab le model. Fuel sending unit is defective. Fuel gauge does not read properly and does not indicate actual fuel level which has caused a stall due to lack of fuel when the gauge reads 1/4 tank. After learning of a recall for this problem, a search of my vin number revealed that nissan did not include my vehicle in the recall even though it is for the same issue that caused the recall.
