| Description of the problem | Oddly enough my fuel gauge stopped working at 58k miles or so. Now i know you think so what fix it. When i took it to the dealer they said they see all the time. So i looked online, googled nissan frontier fuel sending unit, and found literally 1000's of owners with the identical problem on dozens of message boards. So i called a few more dealers and repair shops and they said the same thing that i have read and heard; that they were fixing them all the time. So i came to the conclusion that the problem is systemic to all years since 01 for the nissan frontier and xterra (they are essentially the same vehicle- just shaped differently). Anyway if you can light a fire under someone's butt over there at nissan to institute a recall i certainly would appreciate it. |
