Description of the problem	Tlcontact owns a 2004 nissan frontier. The service engine light illuminated on the instrument panel. It would illuminate intermittently. The consumer attempted to take his vehicle in for inspection but it failed due to this failure. He then took the vehicle to a mechanic who ran diagnostic testing on the vehicle. After further testing they stated that the failure was due to rust on the gas tank. In which led to a evaporation leak on the top of the gas tank. The mechanics replaced the gas tank. All the associated equipment including the gas pump. The repairs have taken care of the failure. He stated that the failure on a vehicle that's five years in age is a manufacture defect.
