Description of the problem	The fuel gage would read between 1/2 and 1/4 tank. The truck would not pick up fuel in the tank thus the moter would shut off. This occured four time on major highways, ( 58 in calf, 15 in las vegas, 40 in arizona). The truck was in the dealer four times, upon the fifth occurance the potential for loss of life, due to a class 3 accident, is too great. The running out of gas occured in trafic and with tractor trailers behind us. I'm just glad they locked up there brakes and we were not hit and killed. I have a 4 page report if you would like a copy. The general manger of united got a copy,( don forman), the regional mgr (helena)has been informed. Nothing from her or the 1 800 nomber from nissan. The stress has taken it's marks on us.
