| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2000 nissan frontier. The contact stated that the vehicle was turned off in the neutral position so that it could be pushed. However, when the vehicle was pushed forward, it started to move forward at a rapid pace so the driver got into the vehicle and depressed the brake pedal; unfortunately, the vehicle did not slow down but instead moved down a hill and crashed into a tree. The vehicle was taken to the dealership for a diagnostic test and repairs which included body work, windshield and exterior lighting. The failure mileage was 15,546.
