| Description of the problem | 2000 nissan frontier fuel sending unit set off service engine light. This was a recall which was repaired on 6 sept 2007 fuel tank and sending unit were replaced. Vehicle had 62698 miles then. Now fuel sending unit set off service engine light again at 73444 miles. Gas tank corroded around sending unit just 3 years and 11000 miles later. Fuel tank and sending unit were replaced again, at my expense. How was this a fixed recall when nissan still has the same problem and will not pay for it? |
