Description of the problem	previously i reported a fuel tank leak. I have seen that other 2000 / 01 frontiers had the same issue. Nissan recalled the 2001"s and replaced the fuel tank. They were replacing the tanks on the 2000 model at no charge on a case by case basis. I filed a case with nissan ( case#12472021) seeking assistance and today was denied any assistance in having the defective tank changed. The nissan supervisor was [xxx] at 800 343 6913 ext [xxx] that was after i paid a non-refundable diagnostic fee of $120. 00 to nissan 112 in patchogue ny to tell me the tank needed to be changed at a cost of over $700. 00.
