| Description of the problem | I recently bought a brand new 2004 nissan pathfinder le platinum edition for my 15 year old son to drive when he turns 16. I have been driving it over the past few months and on two occasions it has suddenly accelerated from a stop and i've had to slam on the brakes to stop it. The first occasion i dismissed as maybe my foot or that it was in the wrong gear or something but it happened again today 6/30/05 and it was very scary. I will be taking it to the dealership on sat. To have them look at it. I wanted to file this in case there are others who have experienced the same problem. Now i'm nervous to let my sone drive this vehicle unless they can find and fix the cause. |
