Description of the problem	Vehicles in front of us were braking hard and so i began braking accordingly, but our 2011 nissan armada was not slowing sufficiently; so i swerved to the left and, since we were on an overpass bridge (no where else to go) and since the vehicle had not slowed as anticipated, we impacted a 2012 hyundai sonata on their left rear bumper with my right front bumper. When applying brakes, i do not recall the standard "kick-back" and "growling" typical of an antilock braking system; however, there were no skid marks and tires did not "lock up" either. Main concern is that our 2011 nissan armada did not decelerate as expected when the brakes were applied. We were not new to this vehicle - we purchased it new in 2011 and have been driving it daily for the past 3 years. Road conditions were dry, no visibility issues, no other issues period. All 4 tires were recently replaced (<1,000 miles), and this vehicle has been maintained in excellent condition since owning it. 2011 nissan armada just didn't slow down as it normally did.
