Description of the problem	Vehicle was being driven out of garage at low speed. Suddenly, there was a clunk and loss of control of the front passenger wheel. There were no prior warning signs or symptoms. Upon inspection, the front passenger tie rod had dis-attached itself from the wheel, resulting in no steering control of the front passenger wheel. Had this happened at a speed greater than 25 mph, serious/fatal accident and injury would have been likely. This is a serious malfunction of the system with no prior warning signs. Nissan dealer has confirmed this is a serious issue that is not the result of any owner fault.
