| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2008 nissan armada. The contact stated that while driving approximately 15 mph, the brake light illuminated on the instrument panel and a grinding noise was heard coming from the brakes. The brake pedal was then depressed as the contact attempted to make a left turn, but the vehicle would not stop and the pedal depressed to the floor. The contact applied the emergency brake in order to stop the vehicle. After turning the engine off and restarting, the brakes functioned as normal. The failure occurred on two different occasions. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnostics, where the technician stated that the anti-lock brake sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 40,000. |
