Description of the problem	While driving approximately 50 mph i experienced a loss of >70% braking power, vehicle shudder & the brake light came on. I did not feel that i had control of the vehicle. I was traveling on westbound 520 which is under construction, with no emergency lanes and during a driving rain storm. Traffic was terrible and i was scared to death. I had to drive into downtown seattle before i could safely pull over. This is the 4th incident. The 1st was december 26, 2010 with my daughter and 4 grandchildren in the car. The last three have occurred in the last 40 days during trips to portland at speeds of 55 to 70 mph. *jb
