| Description of the problem | Driving on a residential street at approximately 35 mph. The brake light came on and when the brakes were applied, the pedal went almost to the floor, the abs engaged and the braking power was reduced by 70% or greater. The vehicle was parked and shut off for an extended period of time and the system appeared to reset itself. Identical issue have occurred in july and august. Brake pads, rotors and fluid levels were checked and all were okay. I contacted a local nissan dealership who advised that there were no recalls on that model year, but other years have been recalled for similar incidents. *jb |
