| Description of the problem | This is the second time the vehicle lost brakes, fortunately at low speed. Brake light comes on, terrible noise comes from the brakes and it is difficult to stop. Exactly 1 week ago, i had the same incident and took it to "just brakes". They changed all my brakes (600. 00 later) and it seemed the issue was fixed (because i turned off the engine, which reset the brake mechanism).. This is very dangerous and nissan seems unable or unwilling to address the problem. I could have killed people had there been more traffic. After turning off truck and turning back on again, the problem resolves. But i will never know when it will happen again. I feel like we are driving a ticking time bomb. This issue needs to be addressed. |
