| Description of the problem | It appears that we are not the only ones with a brake issue with our 2006 nissan armada and would hope something could be acknowledged that nissan has an issue with their brake issues. I have taken it in to a dealer in sebring florida last year and i believe i tried to have another dealership look at it before last year when it was in warranty. Of course, they don't want to admit there is a problem. They just want to tell you it is this or that... Brake booster... Cylindroid... Sensor... Well, the dealership in sebring did do something with the sensor and could not guarantee it would solve the issue. This vehicle is garaged kept and has only been driven 2000 miles since they did whatever they did. If you go online, you will find many owners complaining of the same issue. What does it take to do something to get them to admit there is a problem? ..... Someone to die... Seriously injured before anyone will do something. You would think that when you pay top dollar for a vehicle that you would quality and it to last more than a couple years before major repairs would have to be done. I have a 2003 ford focus that we bought used and has over 120,000 and well maintained and only minor normal repairs. The issue with brakes does not happen all the time... When it does, the brake light will come on and then as you try to brake .... The brake peddle will go to the floor, make a horrible crunch noise and no brakes. We bought this to pull our 2006 forrest river toy hauler which we have only use up to or at most 3-4 times to daytona, which is only 3 hours away.... What happens when the next time we use our trailor with the armada . And no brakes? Please i ask that you view others complaints to make a recall on what could horrific accident with lost of lives and could be prevented. We/others are afraid to drive this vehicle that we don't really want to get rid of. |
