| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2006 nissan armada. The contact stated that when the brake was depressed, the brake warning light illuminated and the brake exhibited an abnormal grinding noise. The contact stated that the brake system reset to normal when the vehicle was turned off for a moment. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times for the failure. The dealer reprogrammed the computer system however the failure was not corrected. The manufacturer had an engineer test drive the vehicle, who was able to duplicate the failure. The dealer checked the tire pressure, adjusted the brake fluid level, serviced the rotors and bled the brakes but to no avail. The approximate failure mileage was 54,000 and the current mileage was 55,000. |
