Description of the problem	Was slowing down to make a left turn to enter freeway when i hit the brake. Heard a booming noise and then grinding. Car was hard to stop and the brake light came on and stayed on until car was stopped and the engine was turned off. When the car was started again car ran and braked normally no brake light illuminated. I read a large number of similar reports from other owners of armadas and nissan titans. Based on their reports there appears to be a defective sensor in the brake booster called the delta stroke sensor. I contacted nissan consumer affairs to report the problem and seek advice. Despite all of the reports i had read, the rep said there were no records of this type of issue. I opened a case with nissan,and was told that i needed to take the car to a dealer to be diagnosed. I did and it was diagnosed with the issue that so many have reported. The cost to repair the part is $1000. I feel that this an issue of a defective manufacture and is a significant safety issue that should be corrected by nissan.
