Description of the problemI was driving approximately 30 mph and started to slow to make a right hand turn into a school zone when my brake light came on immediately and brake pedal went to the floor and heard a grinding sound. My brakes were no longer functioning. Luckily, i was not going very fast and my turn was up hill. After stopping, i tested the brakes again, but they still were not functioning. The brake light was still on and there was still a strange grinding sound while pressing on the brakes. I dropped my son off at school and parked the vehicle until a tow truck came. I have had two brake diagnostics done by two different service stations and nothing can be found. Which once the brake light came off it started functioning properly. Apparently, this has happened to quite a few other armada owners and yet there has not been any recalls for this issue. The problem occurs out of no where and can not be predetermined. This is a safety issue and should be a recall! I should have been notified of this problem and it should have been fixed prior to this incident.
