Description of the problem	For the past few years. Every several weeks sometimes months. When i go to engage the brakes the brake light comes on and a horrible grinding from my from brakes can be heard. The brakes seem like they are barely engaging and vehicle has a hard time stopping. This mostly has happened at slow speeds. However, this same situation happened to my wife while driving on the express way with my 6 yr old child. She had to move over to the shoulder and very slowly try to come to a stop. I also noticed that once you turn the vehicle off and turn it back on the problem is gone. I've seen hundreds if not thousands of post online with people having this same issue. People have spent hundreds or thousands of dollars changing brakes, rotors etc... At dealerships without any luck resolving this issue. I cannot believe nissan has not come out with a recall to fix this issue. Are they waiting for someone to be killed because of this problem?
