| Description of the problem | Over the past couple of years, i have been experiencing a problem with the brakes on my 2006 nissan armada. Every 3-6 months the brakes will make a scary noise (can't really describe it - grinding/clanking), the brakes work at about 10% and the brake light goes on. Once the vehicle is turned off, the brake light goes out, the noise disappears and the brakes work at 100% once again. So far it has not happened in a situation where i had to stop suddenly. If it does, there will be an accident, which could result in injuries or even death. I can't believe all the complaints that have been posted about this one "same" problem and there has not been a recall issued. I'm not sure what more the consumers can do, but i will be contacting nissan and others to see what more can be done. |
