| Description of the problem | The brakes on our 2006 nissan armada has made a very loud grinding noise as you brake and the brake light comes on. This has happened on several occasions before. The latest was this morning as i drove to work. It continued until i arrived at my parking space. Once before when we heard this sound, we took it and had the brake pads changed and the mechanic told me to not have any normal put on the tires, this might cause the sound as well (what?). Anyway, the sound is like springs popping and as you brake, the brake pedal goes up and down and scrubs really loud. We've paid to have the pads changed and the new rotors. This really expensive.
