Description of the problem	My 06 nissan armarda has over 78000 miles on it. One day without warning, the brake light goes on - the sound that the abs makes when its in use happens & brakes become spongy. It felt like they fell right out the bottom. Next morning it was at my local good year. They replaced the calipers, and brake pads - all was well, so i thought. 2 weeks late the same thing. Back it went to the shop & nothing could be found since this defect seems to correct itself when the truck is turned off. This 3rd time it happened while driving 30 miles an hour, just a slight tap & the brakes were lost. I drove it right to the shop & the mechanic was able to hear the grinding since i never put the truck in park. But the next day they weren't able to duplicate it. I now have an appointment at the nissan dealer. After doing some research it sounds like something to do with the abs components. Thankfully for geicos mechanical breakdown insurance so far i've only had to pay the $250 deductible. Its good for up to 7 years/100,000 miles.
