| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2006 nissan armada. The contact stated that while driving 35 mph smoke was emitting out from underneath the hood, and all of the instrument panel lights illuminated. The contact inspected the vehicle and noticed that the wire had melted. A mechanic was contacted who advised to contact the dealer. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who verified the failure, and although they could not diagnosed what caused the problem they stated that the wiring harness needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offered any assistance. The vin was not available. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure and current mileage was 84,000. |
