Description of the problem	Brake light came on during normal driving conditions. When i pressed the brake to stop, the abs system kicked on and braking distance was greatly reduced. Problem reset itself when vehicle was turned off and turned back on. It has been an intermittent problem now for 5 years. Never have had it near a dealer when it has happened so i have not gotten it fixed. It may come on two or three times a day then it might not come back on for 6 months then it will happen everyday for a week and the stop for three months. Something is clearly wrong with their braking system and i don't want to pay them to fix their mistakes. Here we are after owning the car for 5 years and seeing many talk forums of other people have the same issue and nissan has not stepped up to resolve it. The brake system is a dangerous component to have fail going down the road.
