| Description of the problem | While driving in the neighborhood around 20 mph, i needed to brake and notice an unusual noise. This noise seems to be coming from the brake booster. In addition, it sounded like the brakes were grinding. I notice that the brake lamp from the instrument cluster was on. Driving slowly, i repeated the braking and it would do the same. So i pulled over to the side of the road and turn off the truck. I turned the truck back on and the brake lamp is now gone. I was able to drive home with no problem. This has occurred to me at least 5 times. I have brought it to the dealership and they did not see any fault code. Did a search on the web and many people have had the same issue. This should be a safety recall since it pertains to the brake system of the vehicle. |
