Description of the problem	We bought this car in 2010 and had been very happy with it. 2-3 times over the first 3 years of ownership this happened, but always at very slow speed right after leaving our driveway. Problem was corrected by turning the car off and back on. This accident was the first time it occurred some distance from home. A car stopped short, causing the car behind to brake very hard. My wife (with our 18 month old son in the car) attempted to brake and couldn't, hitting both cars. Since the accident, the issue has occurred with increasing frequency (3x in the last month alone) - our issue is identical to what i've now found on numerous sites - abs light comes on, very little braking power, grinding noise, vibration in the pedal. Stop the car, turn it off, turn it back on, problem gone.
